Maintenance Precautions for Hydraulic Bolt Tensioners

(1) Before starting the oil pump motor, the unloading valve must be opened to prevent the motor from overloading. And remove the exhaust plug on the distributor to discharge the gas.

(2) The oil volume in the oil tank should be kept at more than three-quarters of the storage volume. When refueling, use a 120~160 mesh oil filter. If used frequently, the oil filter should be cleaned every two months, the oil tank should be cleaned every six months, and new oil should be replaced at the same time.

(3) The hydraulic pump should be inspected once a year, cleaned with light diesel or kerosene, and pay attention to protecting the mating surface.

(4) Pay attention to the scope of use of the hydraulic bolt tensioner, and it is strictly forbidden to use it under overpressure. Overpressure use will damage components such as hydraulic pumps and Hydraulic Cylinders and reduce their service life.

(5) To ensure the sealing of the hydraulic cylinder, the sealing components in the hydraulic cylinder should be replaced regularly to prevent aging. Generally, they should be replaced every six months.
